Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Headlinerz International websites, forms, Headlinerz University and related digital services.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, pages, forms, educational content and related digital services offered by Headlinerz International LLC ("Headlinerz", "we", "us") at headlinerzinternational.com and its subdomains (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Some programs, such as SMS programs, contests or campaigns, have additional terms or rules presented when you join; those apply alongside these Terms.

2. About Headlinerz International

Headlinerz International is an artist-development company for independent music artists. Through the Services we provide educational content (including Headlinerz University), an artist readiness assessment, editorial content (including Headlinerz Signal) and information about our artists, projects and events.

3. Eligibility and Use of the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. Our Services are not directed to children under 13, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Some programs may have additional eligibility requirements, which will be disclosed when you sign up.

4. Accounts and Access

Some Services, such as Headlinerz University course access, use a member account provided through our student portal. You are responsible for keeping your login information confidential, for providing accurate information and for activity under your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. Headlinerz University and Educational Content

Headlinerz University is an educational program for independent artists, organized into four pillars and a seven-course roadmap. Course 1 (PRIMO, "Hidden to Headliner") is currently available. Courses 2–7 are currently locked and will be released as the curriculum expands. Descriptions of unreleased courses describe planned subject matter and are not a promise that any course will be released on a particular date or in a particular form. University content is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

6. Artist Readiness Diagnostic

The Artist Readiness Diagnostic is an educational self-assessment. Your results, including scores, section results and suggested quick wins, are informational and based on your own answers. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and they do not predict or guarantee any career outcome. Under the current University system, completing the Diagnostic may grant access to Course 1; access to other courses is not included.

7. Headlinerz Signal and Email Communications

Headlinerz Signal is an editorial email publication about music business, artist infrastructure and culture. If you subscribe to Signal or another Headlinerz email list, we will send you the communications you agreed to receive when you signed up. These Terms do not expand that consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

8. Forms, Applications and Information You Submit

When you submit a form, application, inquiry or assessment, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form, booking inquiry or application does not create a contract, booking, enrollment or other relationship beyond what we confirm with you in writing.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services and the content we create, including website content and design, the Headlinerz names, logos and branding, University curriculum, lessons and course materials, the Diagnostic, graphics, videos and editorial content, are owned by Headlinerz or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use our content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, publicly display or create derivative works from it without our written permission. These Terms do not give Headlinerz ownership of anything you own.

10. Your Submitted Materials

Some forms let you share materials with us, such as social or portfolio links, reels, music links, an EPK or other materials. You keep all ownership of your materials. Submitting materials does not transfer to Headlinerz any ownership of your master recordings, compositions, publishing, artist name, likeness or other rights.

To provide the service you requested, you give Headlinerz a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to access, review and evaluate your materials for that purpose, for as long as needed for that purpose. We will not publicly display, repost or otherwise use your materials for promotion unless you give separate permission or the specific campaign or program rules you accepted say so. You confirm that you have the rights needed to share your materials and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone;
• submit content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing or unsafe;
• interfere with the security or operation of the Services, or access systems or accounts without authorization;
• scrape, copy or redistribute our content or course materials without permission;
• use the Services in violation of applicable law or third-party platform rules.

12. Third-Party Platforms, Links and Services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party platforms, such as streaming services, social networks, video hosting and the platforms that operate our forms, student portal and email. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

13. No Guaranteed Artist or Business Outcomes

Headlinerz teaches business, rights, branding and monetization concepts and provides artist-development resources. We do not guarantee revenue, income or profit; streams, followers or audience growth; bookings, placements, sync or licensing; record, publishing, brand or sponsorship deals; employment; or commercial success. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.

14. Educational and Informational Purpose

Content on the Services is for educational and informational purposes only. Headlinerz is not a law firm, accounting firm, financial adviser, talent agency or management company, and nothing on the Services is legal, financial, tax or professional advice. For advice about your situation, consult a qualified professional, such as a licensed attorney for contracts, rights or business formation.

15. Availability and Changes to the Services

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, including course content and the course roadmap, at any time. We try to keep the Services available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

16. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Services if you materially violate these Terms, if your use creates risk or harm for Headlinerz, other users or third parties, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. You may stop using the Services at any time and may ask us to close your account by contacting us.

17. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Headlinerz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Headlinerz against third-party claims arising from your violation of these Terms or from materials you submit that infringe someone else's rights.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent a dispute relating to these Terms or the Services is heard in court, the parties consent to the jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction in Illinois, subject to applicable law.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted, unless the update says otherwise. If you continue to use the Services after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

22. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, and should be read together with these Terms.

23. SMS Terms

SMS programs, where offered, are subject to separate SMS Terms and the consent disclosures shown when you opt in. Using the website, or agreeing to these Terms, does not sign you up for SMS messages.
